Well this year we are breaking in the 5th generation of Baker Painting. Yes most of the jobs you will see Scottie B show up and work all day by himself, this insures the quality that we demand for our customers. However there are times there are jobs that require an extra set of hands, or safety. This was one of them, and safety is our number one concern. We thought we could reach this barn with our lift and we are a bit shorter than we like to be, with it stretched all the way out. With our extension wand and a little bit of stretching, we were able to get this roof power washed. However, one wrong move and Scottie B will be dangling from his harness. To Riley came to help move hoses and be there to call somebody if something happened. He was on a FaceTime call with Nana when she snapped this screen shot. Now we will get the big spray rig out and start spraying fibered roof coating. 

Wrapped this one up a couple of weeks ago. Two coats of Woodluxe Solid stain got this one sealed up and looking good.

Hope everyone has a good Monday. Here is a project we wrapped up a week ago. A coat of Repcolite slow dry oil primer on the wood with two oats of Ultra spec got this house back to being sealed up and looking good.

What is a Hero? Super man, Batman, Captain America, Spider Man? No these are just fictional characters that everyone just calls Heroes. Real Heroes live among us every day. You probably wouldn’t be able to recognize them, or pick them out in a group of people. Real Heroes don’t wear capes. Real Heroes make a choice. A choice that comes from deep inside. They choose to serve to protect or freedom, our troops/veterans. They choose to protect our safety, our police officers. Or they choose to come help us when we are in danger, our firefighters. They all leave their families to serve or protect us, in one way or another. They put their lives on the line every time they get a call, and never think twice. Them are the real Heroes of the world.

Continuing our celebration of our 75 years in business, we decided to give back to a group of Heroes in our community, Ronald Township Fire Department. This is a special year for them also. It is their 50th anniversary. We noticed a couple years ago on a job in Palo, that their fire station was in desperate need of painting. We pulled some colors together, presented it to them, and got to work. To help them celebrate their anniversary, we donated 100% of the cost of painting to get their Fire station back to being protected from the weather and looking good. We are grateful for this group of Heroes, and very thankful for their service to our community. It was a true honor to be able to give back to them.

This Sunday, July 12th, from 3-5pm please come and join them celebrate their 50th anniversary. Meet this Team of Heroes of the community.

Someone ordered a flag pole? Their flag pole got damaged last year, and didn’t have time to get it replaced. We brought out our lift and put out flag up for opening day! Anyone want to donate a flag pole for the kids?
