Was over in Woodfin Ridge the other day top dressing Mr. Price’s yard. He is wanting a nice level lawn similar to the golf course that he lives in. So we started the process. Added 24 tons of sand today and will re-visit his yard in September and do another top dress and spot leveling to fill in the rest of the low spots. This Pacolet River sand sure has a lot of nutrients in it to help this bermuda grass flourish. Mr. Price will see results very soon as long as Mother Nature continues the growing season like she has so far. Photos and videos in the comments below.

So, Dustin had his house built about a year ago and has not been happy with the front yard since. It was bumpy, some seems between the sod was showing and the grass was thin in some areas. We discussed that top dressing it with river sand would help level the ground and will also help the Bermuda grass spread out. We also talked about core aerifying the soil and fertilizing before the top dressing. Dustin decided with the core aerifying, fertilizer, top dress and leveling. We both think it has made a big difference in his yards appearance. This is the before and 10 days after photos. The Bermuda grass is really showing out and the weather is great for growing this type of grass in the summer. We have already planned on doing the same process next year!!
