Executive Directive 1 helped establish a faster path. Now, the Accessible Housing Streamlining Ordinance builds on that progress—making efficient approvals a lasting part of how Los Angeles creates housing.

Major transportation updates are moving forward in Inglewood.

The City Council approved a partnership with Elevate Inglewood Development Corporation. Updates include:

- Three mobility hubs with more than 1,000 parking stalls
- A pedestrian bridge connecting Downtown Inglewood to the Metro K Line
- Streetscape upgrades along Market Street, Manchester Boulevard, and Queen Street
- Event-day shuttle lanes and improved transit connections
- Space for a potential future automated people mover

Construction is expected to begin in fall 2026.

We look forward to this investment and how it will shape how residents, businesses, and visitors move through Inglewood.

Exciting news! AERO COLLECTIVE is highlighted in the latest installment of FORT: LA’s “The Good Developer” series, written by Frances Anderton.

The interview highlights our client, , and the critical need for “missing middle” housing in Los Angeles.

We’re proud to serve as the architect for 1172 Nelrose Avenue in Venice, where our design incorporates generous private outdoor spaces and shared open-air corridors to maximize livability on an infill site. We’re also thrilled to be part of the winning team selected for the Small Lots, Big Impacts demonstration project, sponsored by cityLAB-UCLA, LA4LA, and Genesis LA. Alongside West of West, Frolic Community, and Six Peak Capital, we look forward to addressing the challenge of creating attainable, for-sale housing in Los Angeles.

Donna’s transforms an existing shell into a warm, energetic dining destination rooted in hospitality and experience. Inspired by the familiarity of a classic Italian trattoria and the vibrancy of Los Angeles, the design layers custom wallpaper, checkered flooring, exposed wood beams, plush banquettes, sculptural furnishings, and warm lighting to create a space that feels both timeless and memorable.

Thoughtful planning, custom millwork, and tactile finishes balance atmosphere with functionality, resulting in a restaurant designed for everyday dining, celebrations, and repeat visits.

Captured through the story and video of , Vandell reimagines a former restaurant space in Los Feliz as an intimate, 800-square-foot neighborhood cocktail bar designed around connection, atmosphere, and a sense of place.

Conceived in collaboration with AERO COLLECTIVE, the space unfolds through a series of layered rooms—from the 12-seat central bar and sunlit front lounge to a secluded back room inspired by Japanese whisky bars. A 30-foot soapstone bar, tiled floors, wood-and-leather seating, and hand-painted murals by a local artist bring warmth and character to the compact footprint, while subtle references to 1930s hospitality give the space a timeless quality.

Architecture has the power to do more than shape buildings—it can create security, dignity, and a sense of belonging. At 5533 Virginia Ave, our collaboration with Viewstone Capital () helped deliver 15 homes dedicated to U.S. military veterans in the heart of Hollywood. With every residence now occupied, the project has become a supportive community for those who served our country. We’re grateful to have contributed to a project where thoughtful design meets a meaningful purpose.

A great day for Team AERO at the Intuit Dome. It was an incredible opportunity to experience one of Los Angeles' newest landmark venues up close and explore the thoughtful design, innovation, and craftsmanship behind the project. We're always grateful for opportunities like these that allow us to learn, be inspired, and continue growing as designers. Looking forward to bringing that inspiration into architecture.
