Members of the Homestead Electrical Contracting team recently attended the Northeastern Illinois Chapter of NECA Summer Meeting at Grand Geneva.

The morning included NECA business updates, an insightful presentation on the growing role of artificial intelligence in our industry, and an important discussion on cybersecurity.

As Chairman of Lake County, Homestead President Dave Ahern provided an update on the current state of electrical work throughout Lake County, sharing insights on local industry activity, ongoing opportunities, and the outlook for our region.

Following the meeting, our team enjoyed the opportunity to connect with fellow contractors and industry partners during a round on the Highlands Course at Grand Geneva.

Thank you to the Northeastern Illinois Chapter of NECA for hosting another outstanding event. Opportunities like these allow our team to stay informed, strengthen industry relationships, and continue contributing to the future of electrical contracting across Northeastern Illinois.
