Happy Sunday! What’s everyone up to today?

We’re over in Waukegan wrapping up another kitchen, and it’s coming together really nicely. We installed custom-finished oak countertops, stained them in Dark Walnut, and topped them off with multiple coats of polyurethane for a durable, beautiful finish.

Now Hiring: Journeyman Carpenter

Cut Above Contractors LLC will soon be looking to add an experienced journeyman carpenter to the team. We have full workweeks available and a strong, consistent workload ahead.

Requirements:

* General carpentry knowledge and hands-on field experience
* Familiarity with drywall/Sheetrock, LVP, hardwood flooring, basic trim work, minor framing, and similar remodeling work
* Must have basic hand tools
* Basic power tools are strongly preferred
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
* Must be dependable, professional, and able to work well with a crew

This will begin as a probationary position, with the goal of bringing the right person on full-time. A full-time position would include benefit options and opportunities for performance bonuses.
