That's how IndyGo bus operator Angela W. describes switching the eGen Flex bus into electric mode. She's been driving it since October 2022.

In downtown Indianapolis, the system automatically operates in electric mode in heavily populated areas, no driver action required. And because the battery recharges through regenerative braking, the bus runs all day without stopping to plug in.
