Our favorite day in May has come and gone, the AIA Indiana May Program! Blue skies, smiling faces, fast cars, and quality time together made this year’s event another great success. Last week, we recognized National Construction Safety Week by focusing on the Construction Focus Four: fall hazards, struck-by hazards, caught-in/between hazards, and electrocution hazards.

Throughout the week, we held safety talks, shared meals at our cookout, and made sure our crews had access to new protective footwear with the boot truck onsite.

Most importantly, we took time to recognize the people who keep our projects moving safely every day. Thank you to every supervisor, foreman, craft professional, and crew member who looks out for one another and makes safety a priority on every jobsite. Safe work is teamwork!

This year, we are honored to have Robert Wickens as our keynote speaker for the AIA May Program. Robert is a championship driver and a 2025 inductee into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame. After a life-altering 2018 injury, he defied the odds to become the first paraplegic driver to win a major North American title.
