Ever make a decision you immediately regret? 😬

This homeowner had the red brick details on her new home painted black…and pretty quickly realized it wasn’t quite what she had envisioned.

Good news: paint on masonry doesn’t always have to be permanent.

After a successful test patch, our crew got to work carefully stripping the paint and bringing that original red brick back to life — without staining or damaging the surrounding masonry.

We’re still working our way around the house, but the transformation already has us a little obsessed. And, more importantly, the homeowner says her beautiful new house is finally starting to feel like home. ❤️🧱

We’re using EaCo Chem, Inc. products for the stripping process, with a shoutout to Atlas Preservation for having what we needed in stock and getting it shipped to us FAST. 🙌

Turns out watching paint dry is boring.

Watching it come OFF? Surprisingly satisfying.

New pavers, better fit for the house, and a much cleaner finish.

For this porch repair, we replaced the deteriorated pavers and selected a new style that better complements the home instead of trying to force a poor match.

That’s a wrap on the Little Flower Golf Outing! ⛳️

Our McGinley’s foursome finished the day hot, tired, and apparently still smiling — so we’re calling that a win. 😂

Cameron, Uncle Jimmy, Vic and Nick shot a 61. Was it enough to bring home the trophy? Absolutely not. Did they have a great time? Absolutely.

We were happy to be a corporate sponsor and even happier to send these guys out to enjoy the day while supporting Little Flower Catholic School and our community.

We were proud to sponsor the 26th Annual Fr. Robert Borchertmeyer Golf Outing benefiting Little Flower! ⛳️

Representing McGinley’s Masonry Repair on the course were our lead field tech Cameron, Uncle Jimmy McGinley, cousin Victor Doucleff, and Cameron’s friend Nick.

We may have missed the memo that we were supposed to have some kind of fun gimmick at our hole 😂, but we were still happy to support a great local event and a community that means a lot to us.

Some masonry repairs need a little more than a patch.

These concrete steps and porch had seen better days, so we gave them the attention they needed and brought everything back to a clean, solid finish.

Cue the hero music. 🦸☘️

Remember this one? 👀

After 36 years, this brick façade had reached the point where bricks were falling, water was getting in, and the wall needed more than a surface repair.

Once we opened it up, we found there were no wall ties securing the brick to the structure, so the priority became making the area safe, stopping the water intrusion, and rebuilding it with proper support.

The finished result is secure, watertight, and ready for the next few decades. ☘️
