We are fully insured with one million dollars of liability, and we will happily provide a certificate of insurance. Always check that your tree service has a large insurance policy. Some Tree Services are operating with minimal to no coverage, which could make you liable if there is damage or injury on your property.

There is a lot of ash wood in the firewood mix lately, but take heart, it makes a great fire. Check out the poem by Lady Celia Congreve:

Beechwood fires are bright and clear
If the logs are kept a year,
Chestnut's only good they say,
If for logs 'tis laid away.
Make a fire of Elder tree,
Death within your house will be;
But ash new or ash old,
Is fit for a queen with crown of gold

Birch and fir logs burn too fast
Blaze up bright and do not last,
it is by the Irish said
Hawthorn bakes the sweetest bread.
Elm wood burns like churchyard mould,
E'en the very flames are cold

Just because the leaves are falling and your dead trees aren't so obvious, isn't a reason to ignore them! Have your dead trees removed now to avoid an emergency in the winter storm season!!

Water!! We have not had rain in a while, do not forget to water your trees. Trees may go dormant early this year and start dropping leaves already because of the lack of rain.
