Three Books, Three Kids, and a Lifetime of Lessons
These books are more than stories about my journey in architecture. They are a celebration of family, creativity, perseverance, and the incredible journey of raising my three children. As an architect and entrepreneur, I spent years designing buildings and creating spaces, but my greatest inspiration often came from the three young artists growing up beside me.
Each book invites readers into a world where creativity has no limits. Young readers will discover that architecture is not just about buildings, it's about dreaming, drawing, solving problems, and turning ideas into reality. Whether a child wants to become an architect, artist, engineer, inventor, or simply a curious explorer, these stories encourage them to believe in their abilities and pursue their passions.
Parents, grandparents, teachers, and caregivers will also find meaningful messages woven throughout the pages. These stories remind us how quickly children grow, how important it is to spend time together, and how everyday experiences can become lifelong memories. Within these pages are our memories, moments of laughter, learning, challenges, and growth that helped shape our family and the people we have become.

I had a fantastic and insightful experience visiting the sites and museum in Atlanta after the NMSDC conference! The Museum, was the icing on the cake, such a rich and immersive way to learn and get inspired.
Visiting the sites and museum in Atlanta had quite an enriching experience! Such a visit provided a deeper understanding of architectural history, design principles, and the cultural context behind various structures.

On this day in 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested after refusing to accept being treated as a second-class citizen and give up her seat on an Montgomery bus simply because she was Black.
