We’re proud to share that The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has honored arcDESIGN with a 2026 Healthcare Design Award for the Eskenazi Health Thomas & Arlene Grande Campus in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The award was presented during the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design® (AIA26) Awards Gala on June 10 in San Diego, California.

This recognition is a testament to the vision, collaboration, and dedication of an exceptional team. We are honored to receive this award alongside our design partners, Moody Nolan and studioAXIS, whose expertise helped bring this transformative healthcare environment to life.

The AIA Healthcare Design Award celebrates innovative projects that address aesthetic, civic, urban, and social challenges while advancing functionality, sustainability, and patient-centered care. We are grateful that the Eskenazi Health Thomas & Arlene Grande Campus has been recognized among this year’s outstanding recipients.

arcDESIGN is proud to be working with Connection Pointe Christian Church as they further their outreach into the Central Indiana Community.

The April groundbreaking kicked-off work on the 32,000 square foot facility, designed to initially seat 550 for Worship service. Supporting spaces will include Kid’s Ministry, Youth, and Administrative functions.

arcDESIGN provided programming, master planning, architectural and interior design services to Northview Christian to assist the leadership and congregation in determining the highest and best use for existing and future facilities.

The scope for this project, completed in 2023, included renovations to existing areas of the campus and building additions that included an “indoor park” featuring a turf field, a community center space with café, and multipurpose rooms for flexible use.
