As temperatures rise and soil activity increases, now is one of the best times to strengthen your lawn from the ground up.
Our Biological Soil Supplement is designed to improve soil health naturally while helping our w**d control program work more efficiently. By improving soil biology and plant permeability, the turf is able to better utilize nutrients and absorb applications more effectively — allowing us to reduce reliance on heavier chemistry over time while still delivering strong results.
Using this biology-forward approach, we’re also able to reduce nitrate usage in our program by up to 50% compared to more traditional lawn care programs.
Our Biological Soil Supplement contains:
* Humic & fulvic acid
* South African sea kelp
* Molasses
* Mycorrhizae fungi
* Bio-nutrient package
Together, these ingredients help:
* stimulate microbial activity
* improve nutrient availability
* encourage deeper rooting
* improve water movement through the soil
* support healthier, thicker turf
Healthier turf naturally competes better against w**ds, especially during stressful summer conditions.
And if the last several Indiana summers have taught us anything, it’s that dry conditions are likely coming.
Here are a few important summer lawn tips:
Mow High
We recommend mowing at one of your mower’s highest settings during summer stress. Taller turf shades the soil, retains moisture better, and helps reduce heat stress.
Water Deep & Infrequently
Lawns generally need about 1 inch of water every 7–10 days during dry periods.
For irrigation systems, we typically recommend:
* watering 2–3 days per week
* running zones approximately 30–45 minutes per zone
* avoiding daily shallow watering
Deep, infrequent watering encourages deeper rooting and improves drought tolerance.
Building stronger soil now helps your lawn better handle the heat later.
Less Chemistry. More Biology. Better Lawns.
