FREE ADMISSION! Today is the day! Get on down to Heath Outdoor from 5pm-10pm for our "Smashin' Pumpkins" Fall Festival! Located just past Bottleworks off the Monon Trail, you can visit vendors on Mass Ave for First Friday and end at Heath Outdoor for some great food, beer and cocktails, live bluegrass music, pumpkin and apple smash and sling, hayrides, fall plant and tree sales, pumpkin carving, vendors, and much more!

You know what's great about hydrangeas? In addition to being beautiful, they're a great "indicator" plant. We also refer to them as a "canary in the coal mine" plant. If your hydrangeas are droopy and thirsty looking, they're sending you a message. Everything is thirsty and needs a drink! These pictures show a significant "droopy to perky" hydrangea from just one deep watering! July to September are our hot and brutal, drier months here in Indiana. If you don't have irrigation, do your trees, shrubs, and perennials a huge favor and give them some long, deep waterings! Slow flow that soaks deep is better than fast, shallow, and frequent when it comes to watering. Your plants will thank you when going into the Fall dormancy well watered and healthy!
