Tomorrow is IFI World Interiors Day!

This year’s theme focuses on the future of design. Specifically, what design should deliver, emphasizing adaptability, wellbeing, sustainability, and long-term livability.

At Guidon, sustainability isn’t just a trend; it’s a core value baked into every project we touch. To celebrate today, we’re looking back at a few of our favorite interior projects that highlight what this year’s theme stands for.

Swipe through to see how we’re designing for tomorrow, today.

Daniel Rudnicki is our May Employee Owner Spotlight and a trusted technical resource within our MEP team, bringing foresight and coordination that strengthen project outcomes. When he recognized a gap on the team, he took the initiative to expand his expertise, completing the rigorous Fire Protection Engineer exam in less than a year. That same drive shows up in how he approaches design challenges every day, with curiosity, preparation, and follow-through.

Outside of work, Daniel brings that same sense of exploration to his personal life. He is a well-traveled professional who finds inspiration in new places, cultures, and experiences. In this video, he shares highlights from his travels so far and a glimpse into what fuels his perspective, including a long-term goal of making it to Antarctica one day.

Guidon spent two impactful days in French Lick, Indiana, at the annual ISHE Conference. We connected with clients, partners, and new faces through thoughtful conversations and shared experiences. From sponsoring the Thursday morning breakfast to taking in the sunset views and time on the golf course, the conference offered the right mix of education, engagement, and connection.

Showing up for our community is not a one-time effort at Guidon. It is part of who we are and how we operate every year.

As part of our 15th anniversary, Guidonnaires once again volunteered across Indianapolis. This spring, our team partnered with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful for tree planting, supported canine enrichment and facility projects at Indy Humane, and helped prepare meals with Second Helpings.

We believe leadership comes with responsibility beyond our day-to-day work. Caring for our communities and the environment is part of our role as designers, planners, and problem solvers. Fifteen years in, this commitment remains central to Guidon. We will continue to show up where it matters.

Victoria Templeton, Guidon’s Housing Practice Leader, was honored to deliver the graduation address for the 2025–2026 Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program.

Hosted by AIA Indiana, the Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program helps emerging professionals strengthen their leadership skills and expand their impact within the industry.

We’re proud to see our team members sharing their insight and expertise while investing in the next generation of leaders. It’s through opportunities like this that we continue Designing Positive Outcomes™ and strengthening the communities we serve.

Congratulations to this year’s graduating class!

Sandra Bradley recently joined industry leaders Zac Hillyard, Nick Mengucci, and Jessica Bazan to share her perspective on 'The Power of the Clinical Voice: Nurses Leading Meaningful Health Care Design,' a timely conversation held during Nurses Week.

Drawing from her experience as a nurse and designer, Sandra emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between what works on paper and what truly supports clinical workflows in practice. From advocating for critical safety and workflow considerations during design and construction to rethinking how care environments support staff well-being and retention, the discussion reinforced a simple but powerful idea: better outcomes start by listening to the people who deliver care every day.

Thank you to the AMFP Central Texas and NIHD communities for creating a space to elevate these conversations and celebrate the impact of nurses in shaping the future of healthcare.

More than $20 million was raised for Indiana University Health's statewide trauma and critical care programs last weekend. The impact of Rev Indy 2026 reaches far beyond one evening.

At Guidon, we believe that access to better health and stronger resources creates lasting change. It’s how we live out our mission of Improving Lives + Empowering People®. Events like Rev Indy play a direct role in making that possible for communities across Indiana, and we’re proud to stand behind that work.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up in such a big way, alongside partners like Wurster Construction, to support care that saves lives and supports families when they need it most.

How do you plan to make a difference in your community this year?

Today, on National Nurses Day, we’re celebrating the nurses on our team and the unique perspective they bring to healthcare design.

At Guidon, having healthcare planners with nursing backgrounds strengthens how we Lead Through Listening®. Their firsthand experience brings clarity to how spaces function, from staff workflows to the patient experience.

As Sandra Bradley shares, her background in nursing allows her to serve as a bridge between clinicians and designers, developing a deep understanding of how care environments operate. From coordinating user groups to identifying inefficiencies and opportunities, she helps translate clinical insight into thoughtful design solutions that support both staff performance and patient care. Alongside her, Emily McCuskey brings her perspective as a former clinical informaticist, healthcare equipment planner, and pediatric nurse, helping ensure our work stays rooted in real-world clinical experience.

Together, their nursing backgrounds shape how we approach flexibility in healthcare design. By advocating for adaptable layouts, multi-functional spaces, and infrastructure that can evolve with new technologies and changing care models, they help create environments that remain resilient and relevant as healthcare continues to evolve.
