Upholstery Academy of Indiana is shining a light on upholstery craftsmanship that is highly needed in the community, to provide a place to learn all the variety of the upholstery craftsmanship. Upholstery Academy of Indiana LLC, run by Starice Bailey a 15-year cancer survivor and upholsterer with 30 years of experience, is a small business dedicated to helping more people get the skills they need

to find employment in a growing field. Not only are more people looking to small businesses now than ever before, more people are looking to repurpose their existing furnishings, rather than purchasing new ones. Upholstery Academy of Indiana, hope to fill the need by providing people with the skills necessary to become professional upholsterer, from the basics up to advanced finishing techniques. Students of the Academy learn hands-on skills that can translate into more new employment opportunity than ever before, allowing them to explore new, creative endeavors of their own.
