Meet Jacob Hartzell, Business Analyst at Controlled Holdings!

Jacob helps turn the data in our systems into useful reports and dashboards that help our teams answer questions, solve problems, and make better decisions.

When he’s not digging into data, Jacob enjoys long-distance biking, traveling, motorsports, and trying new foods, including grasshopper tacos in Mexico City! He’s also getting ready for an exciting milestone: getting married.

One of Jacob’s favorite things about working at Controlled Holdings? The sense of community and the people he gets to work with.

Our Controlled Holdings team had a blast working with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc.! They prepped the upcoming tree plantings scheduled around the city by filling and loading buckets of mulch. Thanks for having us, and letting us do our part for the city!

Shout out to Tim Vasko! He has truly stepped up as a leader, working side by side with the shipping team—providing guidance, solving problems, and finding the most efficient ways to tackle day-to-day challenges. He’s learning to leverage his entire team for feedback and knowledge while cross-training them to build strength across different areas.

We throw a lot at Tim, but he always responds with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. Thank you, Tim, for putting in the extra effort, time, and heart into developing both yourself and the team!
