Sometimes space planning takes a bit of creativity. This project was a carriage house with 2nd floor apartment that required efficient use of space. We built custom bookcases into the knee wall area and designed a compact solution for the laundry that doubles as a workspace.

Features like this allows a one bedroom apartment to live a lot bigger than it really is!

Details matter, because the right finishing touches make a house feel like a home.

Our client wanted a backsplash that matched the style of their mid-century modern house and also brought together the colors of the countertops, cabinets and walls. The textured and softly multi-hued subway tile provided the perfect backdrop for the elaborate accent tiles over the cook top that brought it all together.
