What you're looking at is the mosquito life stage most people never see.
Before mosquitoes become the buzzing backyard pests we all know, they spend their early lives developing in standing water as larvae. Even a small amount of water in a birdbath, flowerpot, clogged gutter, or outdoor container can become a mosquito nursery.
The good news? Dumping standing water is one of the easiest ways to help reduce mosquito populations around your home before they become biting adults.
