Arcwood is proud to sponsor three new “Welcome to East Liverpool” signs at locations throughout the city. We’re excited to work alongside city leaders and community partners to invest in the appearance and pride of our community and as part of the continued effort to revitalize and enhance East Liverpool.

We are also proud to sponsor a brand-new Genesis Combi Tool for the East Liverpool Fire Department. This life-saving piece of rescue equipment will give our East Liverpool Firefighters another important tool when responding to emergencies, including situations where every second matters.

👋Meet Patricia Humphries, who serves as a Wastewater Treatment Operator. Through her work, Patricia helps customers manage wastewater responsibly while supporting efforts to protect the water resources we all depend on.

Because protecting water quality isn’t just about treating wastewater—it’s about preventing pollutants from entering our waterways, using water wisely, and finding better ways to treat what we can’t avoid.

21.5 million gallons of treated wastewater returned for reuse. That’s one example of how Arcwood Environmental is helping customers manage water responsibly while finding opportunities to conserve resources.

Across our operations, we don’t simply treat wastewater—we look for ways to help return treated water to productive use when appropriate.

➡️Arcwood served as a Gold Sponsor for the Tribute to Lou Holtz fundraising event, benefiting the Upper Ohio Valley Museum at the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame. More than 100 guests gathered for an incredible evening featuring legendary coaches Skip Holtz and Urban Meyer, who shared stories, memories, and plenty of laughs while honoring East Liverpool native and coaching legend Lou Holtz.

📖🍎We also participated in the East Liverpool City Schools Back-to-School Bash! Our team had a table set up and donated a wide variety of school supplies to help ensure local students had what they needed to start the new school year.

👋Meet Christy Pease, Administrative Services Analyst in our Center of Excellence Department, who has been part of the company for more than 30 years!

Christy joined the company as a temporary employee in 1994, helping complete the facility's first Annual Hazardous Waste Report before accepting a full-time role as a Data Entry Coordinator in 1995. Today, she is based at our East Liverpool Incinerator, where she partners with engineers and plant leaders on projects, savings initiatives, capital planning, and operational support that help drive continuous improvement across the organization.

➡️What Christy enjoys most about Arcwood is the people (many of whom have become lifelong friends). One accomplishment she's especially proud of is learning Power BI and developing dashboards and visual tools—including the Daily Operating Summary—that provide valuable insights for plant operations.

Outside of work, Christy enjoys spending time with her husband of nearly 39 years, their son, daughter-in-law, daughter, and grandson. She also loves traveling, spending time with friends, and being outdoors.

Her advice: "Take advantage of every opportunity to learn."
