On this job we had to get to the top of the chimney remove the cap off of the top and replace. The cap and cover were made out of a very thin tin material and nailed into the center which created a bowl in which the rain would run rite down the chimney and inside the house.
These chimney covers have to be custome made so we changed it to a thicker gaged steel held together by stanless steel screws with rubber bushings to keep it leek proof and finally before putting it on we incapsulated the whole thing with a fire rated duraliner better known around as rinolining. Now its good for at least 20 years.

To all my friends customers and friends of my friends and customers. Spring is upon us again. Which means hear comes the rain and the flooded basements and malfunctioning sump pumps.

These pictures are coming to you guys from green castle Indiana due to an exterior wall in the basement that was affected by mold.
- We cleaned up this wall buy baking soda blasting the entire wall, exhausting the air into a catch sock which collects baking soda on mold in the air inside the containment where we are working. Final step once mold was removed was to encapsulate the wall with a sealer so problem would not return.

It is winter time again and time for frozen pipes and mold remediaiton. We are on to a basement in green castle to help out a couple get rid of mold on some exterior walls and find the source so it dose not come back

in this house we had to replace the back door raise up the floor system with hydraulic jacks and replace framing under neath then install laminate floor in a rental unit.
