Two Mixed-Use Developments underway in Colorado!!

After a long design and approval process in Castle Rock and Aurora, CO construction is well underway on both developments.
In Castle Rock the 2-story townhomes and community pool are nearing completion while two 4-story flats buildings with ground-floor retail are just being framed. Exterior materials on the 13 buildings include thin stone veneer, varying colors of board and batten siding and rusticated bracing.
In Aurora, the earthwork and site utilities are complete and the foundations are well underway in this townhome complex with clubhouse and pool. Framing has begun on a few of the 19 buildings across the site, and the clubhouse is looking more complete by the day.

YELLOW DOG Veterinary Clinic is now Open!
It's been a long time working thru the pandemic, and now Dr. Sam Stanley has relocated to his new office building in Carmel. Our team worked with him along with BuildSmart Construction to deliver this free-standing clinic.
Our design draws inspiration from early American architectural Prairie Style, with brick details that hark back to the early works of our own Harry Cooler. I have always considered this location as the “prairie” of Carmel, so using these influences seemed like the perfect choice to honor this beautiful piece of land. The exterior color scheme, derived from the coloring of our new Dir. of Design's Evan Denis' childhood-yellow lab, was to create a building that is easily identifiable with the brand of the Yellow Dog Veterinary Clinic. With the large brick masses, expansive window lighting, low slung roofs, and generous overhangs, we hope this building not only fits well into the surrounding neighborhood and landscape, but is a comfortable and welcoming home for Dr. Stanley and his customers for years and years to come.

It gives me great pleasure in helping a person in need and Lucas Strong is certainly one fine young man deserving of such help! The Cooler Design Team worked hard to provide Lucas and his family a beautiful new home they can all enjoy.

When Lucas left the hospital, it wasn't his injury that was slowing him down. It was his home. But a local company and the community made that a thing of the past.

The Midland Trail is multi phase project connecting Noblesville to Westfield via an abandoned railway turned bike trail with loads of opportunities for development throughout its many phases. We are excited to present approved renderings and map of our Midland South planned unit development, which consists of 49 for-purchase townhomes in the northwest quadrant of Union Street and Roosevelt Street.
To the West is the exciting Union Square project, which will include residential and commercial development in the city’s downtown area to build retail shops, restaurants, apartments and condominiums.

Outdoor spaces are important now more than ever! Many restaurants are now seating patrons outside due to social distancing guidelines required by COVID-19. In addition, studies have shown that spending just 15 minutes outdoors each day can increase vitamin D levels, reduce mental and physical fatigue, and even raise your white blood cell count. Providing accessible green spaces in multi-family, retail and work places helps to foster a sense of community and individual well-being. We are inspired by this rendering of a mixed-use facility that allows persons to spend time outdoors but at a safe distance.

Our recent project for Hatfield Medical Group in Apache Junction, AZ really takes advantage of the Southwest sunshine! Natural light pouring into the interior, along with the company’s colors/branding make for a bright and cheery atmosphere. It was a pleasure working with the Avenue Development team on this conversion from restaurant to medical office.
