A group of our project engineers recently attended a 2-day welding training at Local 440 Plumbers, Steamfitters, and Hvacr Service Technicians! Over the two days, they learned about the importance of welding, practiced different welding techniques, and were evaluated on the quality of their work at the end.

This training put our engineers in a welder's shoes and gave them a firsthand look at the skill, precision, and pressure that comes with the job every single day. Building that understanding between our engineers and the craft helps make BMWC a better oiled machine.

We would like to take a moment to recognize Sarah Deckard. Earlier this year, Sarah responded to a medical emergency involving a fellow employee and put her CPR training into action while emergency responders were in route.
For her actions, Sarah was awarded a Life Saving Actions Medal by one of BMWC's major clients and was nominated for the American Heart Association's Golden Hard Hat Award.

A little rain didn’t stop a recent weekend on the water supporting a great cause!

We recently hosted a few industry friends at the Reelin' For Research offshore fishing tournament, helping raise funds for children’s cancer research.
To top it off, our team brought home the win!🏆A great finish to an already meaningful weekend.
