Mike Dilts, Executive Chairman of Shiel Sexton, has been named Co-Chair of Meet Operations & Event Experience for the 2028 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming, returning to Lucas Oil Stadium.

Dilts brings more than four decades of experience in the construction industry, along with extensive experience supporting major sporting events and community initiatives throughout Indianapolis. As co-chair, he will provide strategic guidance around operational readiness and the experience of athletes, fans, volunteers and other event stakeholders, helping identify opportunities to enhance the championship experience.

Shiel Sexton served as the owner’s technical representative for the 2024 USA Swimming Olympic Trials at Lucas Oil Stadium, the first NFL stadium to host the event. We’re excited to work alongside Indiana Sports Corp again as Indy prepares to welcome the nation’s top swimmers and Team USA in 2028.

For this year’s Beyond the Build Day of Service, our team partnered with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. to transform an empty lot at P30 on Indianapolis’ Far Eastside into a new greenspace.

Our team spent the day building, planting, and creating, from installing a new shelter and landscaping to planting hundreds of trees and perennials and painting murals along the parking lot walkways. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support P30 Indy and make a lasting investment in the community.
