This week, we broke ground on our new Nursing & Health Sciences building at our north campus! The facility will include advanced simulation labs, patient care suites, collaborative learning spaces, and updated classrooms designed to support nursing and health sciences education. 🪏

The next chapter of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum is officially in motion.

This week’s groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of the new Restoration and Event Center, which will include multiple restoration bays, detailing bays, dedicated vehicle storage, public viewing areas, and a new event venue in Speedway.

Located just steps from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the museum, the facility will give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the restoration team in action and create new ways to experience the Museum’s historic collection.

This week, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Butler University Safety and Transit Hub.

The project will expand parking, create a new commuter hub for pedestrians and cyclists, and serve as the future home of the Butler University Police Department, enhancing safety, accessibility, and connectivity across campus.

After 2,081 weeks at Shiel Sexton, Randy Waren retired on March 20, 2026. Randy joined the company in March 1986 after serving in the Marine Corps, working as a laborer alongside his father, Glen Waren. Throughout his career, Randy built not only great projects but great teams. His mentorship and leadership will continue to shape Shiel Sexton for years to come. Congratulations, Randy, on a wonderful, impactful career!
