JQOL was proud to join project partners in celebrating the groundbreaking of the Northern Kentucky University Civic Center in Highland Heights, KY. This transformative project will renovate and expand a former public safety facility into a modern civic center featuring medical examiner facilities, office space, a crime lab, and evidence storage. JQOL is honored to provide civil engineering, structural engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture services as this vision takes shape.

The future of engineering is bright! 💡

This week, JQOL had the privilege of co-hosting engineering and municipal engineering students during a career visit coordinated through the CETC Outreach & Career Development Office and the SSU Career Services & Leadership Development Center.

JQOL President, Jarvis Jointer PE and Karla Vincent, PE, City Engineer for the City of Hardeeville, shared insights into the field of municipal engineering, discussing the planning, design, and maintenance of the infrastructure that supports thriving communities. Students had the opportunity to learn about career paths in civil and municipal engineering, explore real-world projects, and engage in valuable conversations about their future in the industry.

Thank you to the students, faculty, and organizers for making this event a success. We are proud to support the next generation of engineers and leaders as they work toward improving Quality of Life. 🌟

🚧 Project Spotlight: South Main Street Road Construction

A roadway is more than just a route from one place to another. It connects people, businesses, and the communities they call home.

The Town of Fairmount is investing in improvements along South Main Street, a key corridor through downtown Fairmount. JQOL is providing transportation engineering, surveying, and construction inspection services for this project, which will include roadway reconstruction, sidewalk and curb improvements, ADA upgrades, and targeted drainage improvements.

Through thoughtful planning and design, this project will help create a safer, more accessible corridor while preserving the connection this roadway provides within the community.
