Here is the finally result! Customer has standing water in the basement when it rains, so the humidity levels are not good sealed Plenum and added some duct sealant. Once she gets the water resolved, it will help tremendously in that unconditioned space. We also had a drill a new hole above ground for the line set and we plugged with hydronic cement the old hole she now has a unit that will cool down and actually cycle.

Here is what the cheaper bid looks like! Now my client can’t get ahold of this guy. Also he installed different brand furnace,a/c,coil. Nothing matched and had 6 leaks on line set. After I pointed everything out customer realized this isn’t right. I don’t show this to throw people under the bus. I want to show this to educate people look at their work they should have a portfolio of jobs they did in the past check reviews do all your homework before you make your decision because the cheaper bid is never the best idea. Just a simple basic system that turned out great. Customer was happy and that makes me happy. Just want to remind everyone with this hot weather or when running portable air conditioners and dehumidifiers. Check filters monthly or bi monthly. Yes they have filters too. It will actually work more efficient and keep them running longer which saves you money on buying new ones. The big box stores are going to hate me. But every single time I go down into a customers basement they are clogged and had no idea that they were there. You will thank me later.

Just because you have a water softener doesn’t mean your water is okay. The water companies add to our water and it’s some of the worst water ever seen. You need to have it tested and then add a water filtration system that removes the bad stuff way before it gets to your water softener. This water heater is only 4 years old and this is the second element for the bottom of the tank. I did not change the first one. But I did pull out 3 buckets of nasty crap out of the tank before installing new element. There is a science to water treatment and first thing is having it tested. Give me call 317-941-9104.
