The Haunted Trail is open tonight and tomorrow at the Museum of the Waxhaws, 7 to 9:30 pm. Bring a jacket.

After that, the best seat is at home: a fire pit, some chairs and good lighting on the path back to the house.

The last Car Cruise-In of the season is tonight in downtown Monroe, 6 to 8 pm. Tomorrow is Autumn Treasures in downtown Waxhaw, 10 am to 6 pm.

Go enjoy both. Then come home to a covered patio that is ready for the cool nights ahead.

Plant now, not in spring. 🌱

Fall is the best planting season we get around Charlotte. The soil is still warm, the air is cool, and roots keep growing all winter.

Shrubs and trees planted now are settled in before next summer's heat. Plant in April and they spend the summer fighting it.

This new home started with builder shrubs and plain grass. The homeowner saw the whole plan in 3D before we touched a thing, so the install was quick and there were no surprises.

Swipe: the before, the 3D design, and the back wall where plain lawn became a finished bed with lights.

Here is how it works, start to finish. We come out and walk your yard, free. We listen to how you want to use the space. Then we build you a full 3D design so you can see it, change it and approve it. Once you sign off, our crew builds exactly what you approved.

No guessing, no surprises, no yard that looks nothing like what you pictured.

The part of a retaining wall you never see is the part that decides if it lasts. 🧱

Swipe and you see it. Cut into the slope, compacted base, drainage stone and pipe behind the block, then pinned courses going up.

Anyone can stack block. What keeps it standing 10 years later is buried behind it, and it is the first thing skipped when a bid comes in cheap.

Music on Main in downtown Monroe tonight. 🍻

Good excuse to think about where you actually feed people. Most backyards have nowhere to put a plate down.

This design solved that on paper first, counter height, grill placement, lighting, seating, traffic flow, all worked out before a single block was set.

We are booking fall builds now, so a design started today can be built while the weather still cooperates.
