Here are 3 ways to make sure your HVAC system can handle whatever rolls through.
✅ Clear & secure the outdoor unit: Clear debris and branches around it, and make sure it's not sitting somewhere that floods. Tie down or move any loose objects nearby.
✅ Protect it from power surges: Storms mean surges. A whole-home surge protector can be the difference between a quick reset and a fried system.
✅ Don't rush it back on after a storm: If there's been flooding nearby, skip blasting the AC or furnace right away. A quick inspection first can save you from a bigger repair later.

Probably our most-asked question — let's settle it once and for all.

What filter should I use, and how often should I replace it?" 🤔

✅ Filter type: Look for a MERV rating between 8 and 13. That range catches dust, pollen, and pet dander without overworking your system. Going too high can restrict airflow if your system isn't built for it—ask us before you upgrade.

✅ Replace it: Every 60-90 days for most homes. Got pets, allergies, or run your system a lot? Aim for 30-45 days instead.

A clean filter = better efficiency, better air quality, less strain on your system. Small habit, big payoff.
