Tides of Amethyst is still a work in progress, but I'm excited to watch her come to life one tile, shell, and bead at a time. 💜🌊✨

This time we're diving into something a little more elaborate, blending new textures and materials to bring this mermaid to life, she's already making waves!

Working with tile, shells, beads, glass, and mixed media elements has opened up a whole new creative direction.
Every curve, swirl, and shimmer adds another layer of movement and personality to the piece.

There's something magical about watching individual pieces transform into a work of art—one tile, one shell, one bead at a time.

✨ More work to be done. 🌊 More details to add. 💜 But she's coming along BEAUTIFULLY.

Sometimes you build showers.

Tile work doesn’t always have to stop at kitchens, showers, and backsplashes. 🌴🔥

Frisbie Tile Designs South has been diving deeper into custom mosaic artwork lately — experimenting with color, movement, texture, and handcrafted design.

From tropical macaws and Kokopelli dancers to sea turtles, fish, and custom wall pieces… every piece starts one tile at a time and slowly comes to life by hand.

The newest Grateful Dead “Steal Your Face” mosaic is also officially underway — and already looking like it’s going to be one wild piece once the colors and grout come together. ⚡💀

It’s been really cool watching creativity take over the workshop lately.
