Today marks an exciting milestone as we officially break ground on the Loranger Elementary Auditorium Renovation project!

In case you missed our last post here outlining what the project in tales, let us recap! First, the goal is restoring the building to its original architectural character. The project balances preservation with modernization to ensure the facility meets contemporary standards for safety, accessibility, and efficiency.

Fun Fact: The historical auditorium was built in 1930!

Renovations will include classroom upgrades with new HVAC, existing stage revitalization, roof, structural and ADA compliance upgrades, and much more.

We are excited to be part of this renovation with hopes that it gives back to the community for another 100 years.

Big news Independence! ✍️

We’re excited to announce that the TPSS ADVANCED COLLEGE & CAREER MAGNET CENTER PHASE 2 project has been awarded, the contract has been signed, and we broke ground this morning!

Brunt Construction, Inc. initially completed the Phase 1 renovation in 2023. Now, we're excited to begin Phase 2, which includes transforming the existing gym into a teaching school which will provide education for culinary, construction trades, welding and fabrication.

This renovation will provide 11th and 12th grade students from across the parish with the opportunity to earn nationally recognized culinary and industry certifications, helping prepare them for successful careers in the workforce. We are honored to be part of a project that invests in the future of our students and community, and in our hometown of Independence, LA! 👷‍♂️🍽️

We’re excited to announce that the Lucille Nesom Memorial School Classroom Additon project has been awarded and the contract has been signed. This project includes a 10-classroom addition and is set to begin construction in two weeks.
