Just finished up one last mowing of a clover plot and had the opportunity to check in on the corn plot we planted mid June, bordering the clover. Needless to say it is doing well. It's been a fantastic year and I really enjoy getting to see the progress of the plots the closer we get to hunting season. 

Some clients I really enjoy building the relationship just as much as the ground.

Last week I had the opportunity to work with Dawson Forestry Mulching, to open up an previous cedar clear cut. Sean spent no time opening up an additional half acre within a totally unusable area.

Following his work, we removed the mulch, made specific entry and exit points to funnel deer, fertilized and seeded with a tried and true fall mix, with the intention of a long term perennial clover plot.

The past month has been all about brushhogging and maintaining our corn and soybeans! It's been a fantastic summer so far.

That being said to my fall clients, my schedule fills up quick due to the limited amount of time we have to plant. If you're not getting soil samples, starting to mow or spray your areas dead you going to be behind the curve and will potentially miss my availability.  Please do not wait until the middle of August to start preparing for a full annual food plot install.

Just finishing up a couple week project of mowing and spraying a 2 acre clover plot and then creating an acre and a half corn plot . Two weeks ago it was an overgrown field, now dirt filled with potential.

Today was a slower pace. Mowing clover, trimming trails and creating food plots. New clients have become repeat clients. That is what I strive for.

I started this from nothing 5 years ago, and have created relationships and shared success with so many people. I have been burned on jobs, I have broken equipment, I have sweat and bled on properties that I have never got to see the finished product. 60, 80, 100 hour weeks.

But it created something I never anticipated; pride, knowledge, skills, and numerous people that have trusted me year after year. To all of you, thank you.

Few more projects and happy clients this week. I never would have imagined this year being this busy, but it's about to come to a screeching halt for a couple weeks due to turkey season... schedule won't be clear for long though!
