The selection follows an extensive review of businesses throughout the Washington, DC region and gives Got Electric, LLC the opportunity to work directly with Andrew Sachs, Kai Sato and the Mauloa team over the coming months.

57 solar panels are getting a new purpose in Shenandoah County, VA!
Got Electric, LLC donated the surplus panels to Search Thrift Shop and Group Home, a nonprofit providing residential care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and operating a community thrift store in Mount Jackson, Virginia.

Working with GiveSolar the panels were connected with two projects that can turn lower electricity costs into lasting support for SEARCH’s mission. Twelve panels are designated for the SEARCH group home, while the remaining 45 will support a future installation at the SEARCH Thrift Store.

We are proud to help valuable solar equipment stay in service and create a meaningful impact for an organization serving its community every day.
