"YOU GUYS ARE JUST GOING TO TELL ME I NEED A NEW UNIT!”

That’s what an Idaho homeowner told Jacob when he offered to have one of our project managers come out and give him a free estimate.

His concern was understandable: What if the company comes out, sees a problem, and tries to sell me an expensive new system when I really just need a small repair?

So Jacob wanted to find the truth for himself.

Do we actually repair systems—or are we mostly selling new installations?

He dug into our numbers.

From March 15 through September 15, 2026:

🔧 4,452 service & repair jobs
🏠 146 installation jobs

That means roughly 30 times as many service and repair jobs as installations.

The numbers gave Jacob exactly the answer he was looking for.

This is what being part of a community is all about. ❤️

We’re at the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot, and there’s nothing quite like meeting face-to-face with the people we’re grateful to serve.

We’ve been handing out balloons, string bags, and Otter Pops—but most importantly, we’ve been listening and answering questions about generators, heat pumps, ductless systems, water softeners, and the systems that keep our homes running.

We’ve met people from Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Colorado, and Washington, and it’s been a great reminder of how much people value good information.

We’re grateful to be part of this community and privileged to answer the call and help people take care of the places they call home.

Power changes what’s possible.

Our electricians recently made the trip out to Arco, Idaho, to wire this incredible new garage—bringing electrical power both inside and outside the building.

Now the owners have a space they can actually use, work in, build in, and rely on.

That’s one of the things we love about what we do. We get to help people turn their ideas into something real—and give them a little more independence, capability, and self-reliance along the way.

Whether it’s in the heart of town or a more remote corner of Idaho, we’re grateful to play a small part in helping our communities build, create, and become more self-reliant.

That feels like meaningful work to us. ❤️

You can’t always see what you’re breathing.

During a recent air duct cleaning, our team pulled out years of dust, debris, and buildup that had been sitting inside the ductwork.

Out of sight. Moving through the home every day.

This is why we love what we do. It’s not just about cleaning ducts—it’s about making homes healthier and creating a real difference for the people who live in them.

Healthy homes create healthy people. And healthy people tend to be happy people. ❤️

The best plumbers never stop learning.

Today, our plumbing team at First Call Jewel spent time training on sewer jetting, sewer camera inspections, and sewer locating.

These are skills that require more than knowing how to operate a piece of equipment. Our plumbers need to understand what they’re seeing inside a sewer line, how different types of buildup and blockages affect a system, how to properly clean the line, and how to accurately locate problems underground.

That kind of hands-on training matters.

When you have a plumbing problem in your home, you want someone who doesn’t just show up with a toolbox—you want someone who has the knowledge, experience, and training to diagnose the problem and understand what’s actually happening.

We’re proud of our plumbers for continuing to sharpen their skills and learn the latest techniques so we can better serve homeowners throughout Eastern Idaho.

The trades are skilled professions. We take that seriously.
