One of the joys of construction! We are doing a historical preservation on a downtown building in Sterling, Ks. and found this newspaper from May 21, 1944 (just a few days before D-day) in the floor joists. Zoom in and you can find a 160 acres for $6,000 or a home for $1,150 or a fridge for $69.95. Phone numbers only have 4 digits. I geek out on stuff like this!!

Starting construction of a 2-story downtown building in Kingman Kansas. There will be 12 apartments on the 2nd floor and commercial rental space on the ground floor. So thankful for the beautiful weather today that allowed us to get footings in the ground!! God is Great!!!
