Help us welcome our newest employee Cooper! Cooper is from Hutchinson. He graduated from Hutchinson High School. Soon after graduating he joined the National Guard as a UH-60 (Blackhawk) maintainer. He enjoys working on vehicles of all nature and anything that has to do with aviation.

Dallas is originally from Hutchinson and has been living in Manhattan the past year. He was a part of the Groundlight team before moving to Manhattan. He has two older brothers. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and dirt track racing. Welcome back Dallas!

Caleb grew up in Marion, KS, then moved to Haven where he graduated high school. He grew up on a small cattle farm, and also worked on combines. He attended college for automotive technology and electrical engineering at HCC. He recently married last October. His hobbies are drumming, music, and also computers.

Help us welcome our newest GroundLight employees, Tanner and Kyler.

Tanner was raised in Hutchinson. He and his girlfriend are foster parents. His hobbies include rzr riding, going to the sand dunes, watching dirt track racing and spending time together as a family.

Kyler was born and raised in Hutchinson. Prior to joining Ideatek he was a forklift driver for Lowe’s. He enjoys spending his free time shooting at the range and live streaming on twitch.

Anything worth doing is worth doing right, especially when no one is looking!

What’s your favorite hobby/free time activity?

Other than work? 🥴 lol Spending time with family and friends. If everyone had family and friends like mine, we would all be better off!

Favorite thing about your job?

I enjoy the day to day challenges and knowing that I’m part of a team that can make about anything happen.

Accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior

Todays employee introduction is Jackson States. He is the field supervisor at GroundLight.

Jackson grew up around the Hutchinson/Haven area.

The best advice he’s been given is “find a job where you love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life”

Outside of work Jackson enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Also working on home improvement projects.

His favorite thing about working at GroundLight is the people he gets to work with.

The best thing that’s happened in his life would be having a caring and loving family that supports his decisions and also being lucky enough to have financial stability at a young age.

Jacob Gore finished out his first week with GroundLight today.

Jacob grew up in Stockton Kansas. The best advice he’s ever been given is “Be yourself and work hard”
His favorite outside work fun is spending time riding motorcycles and hunting. So far the best thing about working with GroundLight is being in different locations and having new challenges. Moving to Hutchinson is one of the best decisions he feels like he’s made.

Highlighting our summer intern Titus Bortzfield.

He joined our crew during summer break to learn the ins and outs of underground fiber construction. His favorite thing about this summer were the friendships he created with our crew and learning that hard work always pays off.

Tomorrow is his last day with us before returning to Buhler next week!
