Better get that extra key before you lose the only one! Vehicle keys are getting very expensive with today’s technology. Dealers are charging up to $800 to $1,000 just to make your vehicle key. Hard to believe! Just gave a customer a bid to rekey 14 locks about 20 miles from my shop for $350. Another local locksmith told her $650 for the same thing. Don’t get ripped off, always get a second opinion.
