Perkins Technical Services, a woman owned small business, was founded in Huntsville, Alabama in 1996. We are proud to support our troops by providing Power Supply Docking Stations (PSDS) as a solution to dismounted communications. Our mission is to have PTS PSDS available for use with every military organization. Traditionally an engineering services company, PTS began building PSDS compatible with Harris, Raytheon and SINCGARS tactical radios in 2000 to provide the warfighter with the ability to use tactical radios in fixed and semi-fixed environments without batteries or dead-lined vehicles using AC/DC power in a continuous, reliable and cost effective fashion. The PTS PSDS is operations effective; eliminating radio downtime while establishing communications within minutes after deploying the PSDS system. The PSDS has been used for more than ten years by National Guard, Marine, and Army units for disaster relief and tactical operations, repair facilities, range control, training facilities, hospitals, engineering units, and airfield ground vehicle communications. PTS used feedback from our customers and designed the PSDS to meet differing deployment requirements to support 24/7/365 radio operations to deployed troops. PTS offers eleven different systems supporting Harris, Raytheon and SINCGARS tactical radios. PTS is committed to the warfighter and we continuously perform product improvements and enhancements with existing products and develop new products to meet emerging mission requirements. Ultimately, PTS PSDS save the users money, require less labor to set-up radio operations, and are exponentially more reliable than traditional methods. The greatest satisfaction for PTS and their employees is the important service the PSDS provides the warfighter. PTS owners and their employees are committed to providing the highest-quality product and realize the power supply docking stations have saved lives and are an invaluable part of TOC operations.
