This is the stage of a remodel where assumptions become facts.

Once the finishes are removed, the existing framing, plumbing, wiring, previous alterations, and original construction are visible. That information can confirm the plan, or show where the plan needs to adapt.

Good remodeling isn’t simply making an older home look new. It’s understanding what is already there and making sound decisions about what comes next.

Family-owned means our name is on more than the truck. It’s on every home we build.

We live here. We see our customers at the store, at ballgames, and around town. So when we say we’ll stand behind our work, we know we’ll see you again, and we want to be proud of the conversation when we do.

For more than 30 years, Lee Brothers has built its reputation one home at a time. We protect that reputation the same way we earned it: by doing careful work, keeping our word, and being here when you need us.

That’s what family-owned means to us.

Same house. Same lot. Same drive to work..

Add up what moving actually costs. Agent fees on the sale. Closing on the purchase. Movers. Then the weeks of your life spent walking through houses that are wrong in a different way than yours is wrong. And the part nobody puts a number on, you actually like where you live. That's why you're still there.

This client stayed. New upper story, brick painted, the whole front reworked. The address never changed.

Whole-home renovations and additions across Walker and Montgomery counties. Projects start at $50,000.

Nobody posts pictures of the dirtwork. There's no tile to admire, no cabinets, nothing that photographs well. But every cracked slab, every door that won't latch two years in, every hairline in the drywall over the front window; most of it traces back to what happened before anyone poured the concrete.

Grading, drainage, compaction, where the water goes when it rains six inches overnight. Get it wrong and no amount of finish work saves you.

Custom homes across Walker and Montgomery counties. Family owned, 30+ years.

Good tile is mostly decisions made before anyone opens a bag of thinset, where the layout starts, which cut gets buried in the corner, what lines up with what. Those choices take an afternoon and they're the whole difference.

Get them right and nobody ever compliments your tile. They just feel like the room was always meant to look that way. That's the goal.

Primary baths, kitchens and whole-home renovations across Walker and Montgomery counties. Projects start at $50,000.

That's a big thing to say about ourselves, so here's what's behind it.

Thirty years building in Walker and Montgomery counties. Same family, same phone number the whole time.

Waterfront is its own animal. Setbacks, drainage, how the slab sits relative to the shoreline, what the soil does after a decade of being wet. We've seen what this ground does because we've been standing on it a long time.

And you'll have scope, schedule and cost in writing before anyone breaks ground. If something changes, you hear it from us not from the invoice.

If you're sitting on a lot and haven't picked anybody yet, that's exactly the right time to call. Before the plans, not after.

That’s the trouble with shopping for a house when you already own the view.

The acreage may be right but the floor plan was designed for someone else. The kitchen feels crowded. The rooms don’t fit the way your family lives.

Building takes more time and more decisions than buying. But when it’s finished, the home fits the land, the view, and the people who live there.

Your land deserves more than someone else’s floor plan.

Custom homes across Walker and Montgomery counties — Huntsville, Riverside, Waterwood, Willis, Conroe and The Woodlands. Family owned, thirty years, same phone number the whole time.

If you've got the land, that's the hard part done. Call us before the plans, not after.

The room you're looking at used to be an attached carport. Now it looks like it was always part of the house.

There were two carports actually, already under roof. Solid structure, dry, solid slab, doing almost nothing. So we walled them in. About 600 square feet of finished living space, with no extended roofline and no new foundation. The expensive parts were already standing. The cheapest square footage you'll ever add is the kind that's already under roof, and now you know the pros that can make it look right.

Whole-home renovations and additions across Walker and Montgomery counties. Projects start at $50,000, and you'll have scope, schedule and cost in writing before the first nail is driven.

Looking for that WOW factor? This ain't no metal cover bolted to the fascia board. This is real timber framing. You can tell the difference from the driveway, and you'll still be able to tell in twenty years.

Covered outdoor space is also the cheapest usable room you can add to a house. No insulation, no HVAC, no drywall, no flooring to speak of. A roof, a deck and some shade and suddenly you're using a part of your property you'd spent years walking past.

Timber-frame porches, additions and whole-home renovations across Walker and Montgomery counties. Projects start at $50,000, and you'll have scope, schedule and cost in writing before we start.
