I was at one day when I saw a little flyer for
I knew immediately I wanted to paint something for the shop, but also wanted to check out some tapes.

This painting took me WAY longer than it should have, but it was so fun to make.

If you haven’t been to the shop inside you definitely should! Also check out the KBS socials for movie screening events and more!

I painted this moth on wood back in 2020, during Covid-times when I was at one of my lowest points.

I hadn’t painted in almost 10 years at that point and this was the first and only painting I did that year. It’s become one of my most prized pieces.

Moths also became my muse from that point on.

I did use a reference photo back then, but I don’t know who took it, or where it is anymore.
