Meet Carlos Colon, Superintendent, here at JSB.

His take on the job? Every project brings some obstacle that has to be overcome to reach the finish line, and working through those challenges is what makes each one rewarding and worth being proud of.

The advice that guides him? "Never be afraid to ask questions."

Outside of work, Carlos recharges by spending time with his family.

Proud to have team members like Carlos who meet every challenge head-on and keep pushing until the job is done right. Bonus: he is hysterical and always keeps everyone laughing.

How has it been nearly a year since the Marriott Autograph Trilogy opened?!

This 8-story, 150,000-sq-ft hotel includes 215 guest rooms, a rooftop restaurant & bar, a full-service restaurant on the main floor, an exercise room, and 5,000 sq ft of event space.

From foundation to finish, our team is proud to have brought this one to life.

The Frank J. Williams Boys & Girls Club of North Alabama opened last October, and its state-of-the-art facility will serve over a thousand children annually.

We worked alongside the Boys & Girls Club and Silo Design Build to renovate this 56,000 sq. ft. former church into the Club's new home. Construction finished in October 2025, and the first members arrived in January.

Proud to have been part of this one.

Big congrats to Matt Taylor, Director of Business Development, on being selected for Flagship Class 40! 🎉

Flagship is a ten-month program for established leaders across the community — deep dives into what makes our region work, plus hands-on small-group projects that give back locally.

Matt's already the guy who shows up for his team and his clients. Can't wait to see what he brings back to JSB this year.

Meet Shelton Patterson, Senior Project Manager, here at JSB.

His proudest JSB project? Memorial Village — a tough job they took over from a defaulted contractor and brought back on track after months of hard work.

The advice that guides him? "The hardest part is finishing. Follow through. Don't leave things undone."

Outside of work, Shelton recharges on the slopes — skiing with a family crew of nine, including siblings, nieces, and nephews, for their favorite vacation of the year.

Proud to have team members like Shelton who bring that same finish-strong mindset to every job site.

We are excited to partner with Neighborhood Concepts, Inc. once again on an impactful new project for our community!

Over the next year, our team will be working hard to build 42 affordable apartment units on Venona Ave in North Huntsville.

Please excuse our progress as we get to work—we are aiming to position Neighborhood Concepts to welcome families home by the end of the first quarter of 2027!
