A great countertop install starts with a great measure! At OWS, our two Measure Techs, Sergio and Nacho, bring experience from every side of this industry! Fabrication, Installation and now both with Measuring! Using laser measure technology, they capture accurate digital layouts to help ensure a smooth fabrication process and a seamless install! Technology is a plus…but having these two is what makes the OWS difference!

From big cities to small towns, Old World Stone is always on the road across Illinois and Wisconsin!

One of today’s kitchen and bath visits brought me to Sycamore, Illinois — where I had to dig out a dime to feed an old-school parking meter! Check out this cute, but mighty town!

But even better, I’m visiting and updating a customer who’s been with OWS for 15+ years! Kramer's Kitchen & Bath That kind of loyalty means everything to us!

(SIDE NOTE: I put the money in the wrong parking meter 🤦‍♀️ phew no ticket tho!!!).

We may not be in the sink business…but we ARE in the business of doing things right! Every sink that comes through OWS that we supply or you supply gets checked in, cleaned, inspected, and documented by Shea, our Material Coordinator. EVERY SINK! Why? Because details matter. It’s the OWS way!

Nothing special here….OR WAIT! Is there and you just don’t see it? On natural stone tops like this we take things one step further! We reinforce sink cut outs, cooktop cutouts, or other weak areas with a steel rod underneath to help the integrity and strength of the stone. It’s not an upgrade. It’s just how we do things here at OWS. 💪
