Our 2026 season is about to begin very soon. With the cold winter we have had, this allowed moisture to seep into small cracks, expanding them into large cracks. We have you covered. Don't worry, at Top Notch Asphalt INC, we use a hot rubberized crack filler that heats up to over 350°. Once cooled, the rubberized material remains highly flexible. This allows it to expand and contract with the pavement, during temperature changes. Once the crack filler is applied, we use a coal tar emulsion, heavy equipment traffic sealant. This combats winter chemicals. The sealant protects against ice melting, salt, and chemicals that weaken the binder and cause erosion. It also protects against UV damage. The intense sun can make asphalt brittle. Sealcoating keeps it flexible, preventing cracks.
