ETA is proud to support the incredible work being done by Project Hope for Women & Children! This organization is a powerful example of what happens when people step up to solve problems in innovative and collaborative ways. The program is filling an urgent and unmet need and it was heartwarming to hear the stories of how it is changing the lives of the women and children they serve 🪴

We are proud of every project that we do, large or small, and it is an honor to serve every one of our clients. At Ebenezer Community Outreach Child Care Center in Huntington, WV, our clients just happen to be a little bit cuter than most! The director and board of the center commissioned our firm to design an expansion of the existing building to create new space for their day care facility for 2, 3 and 4 year olds, as well as a new multi-purpose space for their after-school and summer programs. The design creates safer drop-off conditions, improved outdoor play spaces, enlarged classrooms to expand the center's capacity, and converts the existing building into a community center with a food and clothing pantry, a business center, and meeting spaces.

Students and staff at Cabell Midland High School may have noticed construction beginning on the expansion of the dining room! The Cabell County Schools project, partially funded by the West Virginia School Building Authority, will also include a STEM Lab that will be used as an extension of the classroom for project based learning, as well as space for academic teams, clubs, meetings and presentations. We are excited for the opportunity to design this much-needed space in our community!

ETA was honored to recieve a Citation for Excellence in Architecture this weekend from AIA West Virginia at the annual Design Awards Gala for our work on the Cabell County Courthouse Clock Tower Restoration for The Cabell County Commission . We are grateful to the jury for their recognition of our work for this historic landmark for our county! Edward Tucker, the founder of our firm, personally oversaw the project, and his beautiful drawings reflect the thoughtfulness and care that are the hallmarks of his legacy as an architect.
This video features Ed reflecting on his legacy and the next generation of leadership of the firm.
