El Niño hasn't hit quite yet...are you ready?

A few things we can help you with:
1. Install a smart timer - replace those dated times that will save water and more importantly cancel any watering if it rains.
2. Ensure your yard drains properly - this will include cleaning out drains, or incorporating mulch in beds/areas that water will collect.
3. Loosen compact soil - this will help prepare soil to absorb rain, rather than allowing it to runoff.

According to court documents, Actor Tom Selleck is being accused by Calleguas Municipal Water District of taking its public water for private use.
