These pool entry steps lacked properly compacted support beneath them. In many cases, the area around the steps is excavated during installation, and if the backfill isn’t properly compacted, voids can develop beneath the steps over time.

This homeowner noticed the steps felt unsupported and called us before the problem became worse.

Using precise measurements and our AccuLift Deep Injection process, we injected expanding foam 4 to 5 feet below grade, directing material exactly where support was needed. This method allowed us to fill voids and restore support beneath the steps without excavation or demolition.

The result - solid, supported stairs that the homeowner can confidently use for years to come.

Best of all, this solution was far more economical and far less disruptive than removing the concrete, rebuilding the base, and pouring or bringing in new steps.

In this project, specialized equipment was used to safely lift the railing and raise the steps over 2½ inches.
