While the oversized soaking tub had its moment, lately we’re finding that our clients care more about the shower.
Not because they want less luxury, but because they want luxury that fits the way they actually live. Busy schedules are often better suited to a quick reset than a long soak.
In our Phoenix, MD project, the original bathroom suffered from poor layout and a surprising amount of dead space. Reworking the footprint allowed us to create an expansive shower with a built-in bench, layered lighting, and a more intentional sense of calm.
Lighting throughout the shower can shift from bright and energizing to soft and atmospheric across the niche, sconces, and overhead fixtures. Large-format porcelain with minimal grout lines, polished nickel plumbing, and warm wood-look tile bring a high-end feel without being overly precious or difficult to maintain. Heated floors complete the experience on cold mornings.
A great shower can completely change the rhythm of a morning or the feeling at the end of a long day. The details matter more than people think.
