Busy busy busy...these last couple months have been hot and we haven't slowed down!

Taking a few days off this weekend to relax and then we will be back at it on Tuesday morning.

Fireplace surround is almost finished on the Yates Center remodel! Countertops started arriving today! We are really close to finishing up and showing you all some amazing pictures of this transformation.

We are also fitting in a quick brick removal and Affinity Stone install to get caught up on some jobs!

Yesterday we said Goodbye to the guy that has probably been helping out Ellison Construction the longest! Layne Ellison has been coming along to jobs since he was 2 or 3 years old! He is headed off to start his career on Monday and we wish him nothing but the best! We hope he continues to find success in the trades and someday finds his way home to serve the people of Southeast Kansas! Thank you Layne for always doing the jobs no one else wanted, for always putting up with your dad as a boss and for always working hard!! Go make us proud!!

Layne Ellison passed his Journeyman Plumbing test yesterday, so of course today he was put on Plumbing duty at work! Nice toilet with Bidet he installed today on our Yates Center remodel!

I may have only sprayed him once testing bidet features!

While the inside of this project is getting the hardwood floors refinished we are busy working on the exterior transformation! New roof line over the front porch, new Fiberon Composite front porch, Versetta Stone siding, Diamond Kote lap siding in Clay and the blue for accent colors, new front door and more to come!!! This place is going to be a brand new home soon!!
