We must never forget what happened on this day 25 years ago, many men and women lost their lives. Many men and women suffered long after too, from the folks that worked in the buildings, to the first responders. We must always remember this tragedy and let it remind us what evils are out in the world, both at home and abroad. All we can do is be thankful for everyday we get and everyday God blesses us, our loved ones and neighbors.

What started as a sewer camera inspection uncovered a much bigger problem beneath this home’s master bathroom.

The homeowners knew something wasn’t right. Their home had previously undergone foundation work, they had noticed persistent moisture beneath this area of the house, and understandably, they were concerned about what might be happening underneath their foundation.

So we went looking for answers.

Running our camera through the toilet fl**ge revealed distorted drainage piping, significant root intrusion, and areas we simply couldn’t get the camera through.

Once we tunneled underneath the home, we found the rest of the story.

The damaged drainage system serving the toilet, tub, and shower was compromised. Roots were restricting the line, and drainage from the tub and shower was escaping beneath the foundation.

This wasn’t something a simple drain cleaning was going to fix.

•It was time to go underground. ⛏️

We tunneled beneath the foundation, exposed the affected system, removed the damaged piping and root intrusion, and rebuilt the sanitary drainage serving the master bathroom.

•Damaged piping removed
•Root intrusion removed
•Toilet/closet bend repaired
•Tub & shower drainage repaired and reconnected
•New PVC drainage installed and properly supported
•The entire process documented for the homeowners

And while we were there, they had another sewer line that needed some attention, so we included a sewer cable service on that line as well.

Then came one of our favorite parts…

Just remember 15% off can save you a lot of money depending on the repair. I always hand cards out to customers when I come look at a job, around town when folks request a card. Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave everything for this country — the fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and friends who never made it home.
Because of their sacrifice, we are blessed with the freedoms we often take for granted every single day. Freedom to work hard, raise our families, build our dreams, worship freely, and live under the flag they fought to protect.

At Hart of Texas Plumbing & Drain Cleaning, we will never forget the cost of that freedom. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a day of remembrance, gratitude, and respect for the heroes who laid down their lives
so others could live free.

To all Gold Star families and to every veteran carrying the memory of brothers and sisters lost in service — we thank you, we honor you, and we stand with you.

Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it.
It flies with the last breath of every soldier who died protecting it. 🇺🇸

Long live Texas!!

March 2, 1836.

Texas declared its independence from Mexico and became the Republic of Texas.

During the early days of the Republic, Texans flew the Burnet Flag — a blue flag with a single gold star representing Texas standing alone.

In 1839, the Lone Star Flag was adopted… the same flag that still represents Texas today.

There is nothing like the Texas flag!!

The Texas flag isn’t just a design — every part of it has meaning.

When Texas adopted the Lone Star Flag in 1839, the colors were chosen to represent the values Texans believed defined their new republic.

🔵 Blue — Loyalty
A symbol of loyalty to Texas and to the ideals that shaped the republic.
⚪ White — Purity
Representing integrity, honesty, and the belief in a just government.
🔴 Red — Bravery
A reminder of the courage and sacrifice shown by those who fought for Texas independence.

And of course, the single white star.

Known as the Lone Star, it represents Texas standing on its own — a symbol of independence that dates back to the days of the Republic of Texas.

Even today, the Lone Star is one of the most recognizable symbols in the country.
You’ll see it on flags, businesses, belt buckles, license plates, and just about everywhere across the state.

For Texans, it’s more than a flag.

Remember the Alamo!!

March 6, 1836

After 13 days under siege, the Battle of the Alamo came to an end.

Inside the walls of the Alamo mission in San Antonio, a small group of Texian defenders held their ground against the much larger army of Mexican General Antonio López de Santa Anna.

Men like William B. Travis, James Bowie, and David Crockett knew the odds… but they stayed anyway.

By sunrise on March 6, the Alamo had fallen.
But the sacrifice of those defenders became a rallying cry that spread across Texas.

Just weeks later, Texian forces led by Sam Houston would defeat Santa Anna at the Battle of San Jacinto, securing Texas independence.

A moment that would forever echo in Texas history:

Remember the Alamo.

A date every Texan remembers.
