One of our favorite projects ever just wrapped up this weekend. 🪵🔥

This was a simple bluestone fireplace along with some lawn grading and repair. But it stood out because over the years we’ve had a growing appreciation working with natural stone in functional settings.

When we finally had a customer take us up on installing one, we gladly got right to work.

Our first shoreline to kickoff 2026 is on the books. We rebuilt this in 2 days by hand using only the original rock buried in the shore, right on time for docks to go in!

Rocks disappearing into the embankment is always a sign that fabric wasn’t used the first time, so we installed our heavy duty fabric underneath before installing the rest of the boulders.

It was a good challenge to start the year! 💪🌲🌊

Many thanks to our equipment rental and trucking partners helping us make it happen, often in the middle of the woods deep in cabin country. Can’t wait for things to heat up!
