Stitt’s Tree Maintenance is seeking a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Established for over 25 years, our company is committed to providing exceptional service and requires a skilled mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance on our heavy equipment. To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements: be at least 21 years of age, possess a minimum of 2 years of experience, hold a valid NC Driver’s License (CDL a plus), pass a drug screening, and provide their own tools. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of heavy equipment repair and hydraulic systems, perform preventive maintenance and repair work as necessary, and maintain accurate equipment inspection reports and maintenance records. Overtime, weekends, and emergency work may be required. A CDL must be obtained within 6 months of the hire date. We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience, IRA benefits after 1 year of employment, paid holidays after 1 year of employment, and one week of scheduled paid vacation after 1 year of employment.
