What We Build.

Our values shape who we are. Our initiatives shape what we do about it. The first of three: what we build.

Two commitments live here. Product Leadership, and Thought Leadership.

Product Leadership means building what is next. Advancing the craft, engineering features that make a builder's work better, cleaner, and more reliable than what came before. We aim to set the pace.

Thought Leadership means setting the standard beyond our own products. Sharing what we know, moving the conversation forward, and helping raise the level of the entire industry. When the whole field gets better, everyone we work with wins.

Building what is next, and setting the standard for it. That is the work.

Built to be trusted.

Meet the Aqua Wave, the one that launches water instead of dropping it.

Fourth in our Aqua series. The Sheer projects a curtain outward. The Shower softens it. The Rain sends it down in streams. The Wave does something none of the others do: its lip angles upward, launching the water into a cresting arc that leaps out from the wall before it meets the pool.

That upward launch is the whole signature. It gives you real projection and movement, a wave that arcs out into the water rather than sliding straight down the face. And like the rest of the line, you can run it with a sheer face for a clean crest or a rain face for a more broken, textured look.

Same hand-built body. Same standard. A completely different motion.

Water with an arc.

Meet Lynsey Simanteris, our Finance Manager, and one of the most familiar voices at Great American.

If you have called or emailed us over the past eight years, there is a good chance you have talked to Lynsey. She joined in early 2018, and for a long time she was one of the first people our partners and customers reached, answering phones, processing orders, preparing quotes, and taking real pride in making sure people felt heard and confident they would get the help they needed.

That front-line experience became her foundation. Over the years she learned our products and processes inside and out, until she could answer the technical questions too. So when Susan retired and the finance role opened up, it was a natural fit. Lynsey has always loved working with numbers and solving problems, and she stepped in without missing a beat.

Today she keeps the whole business adding up, accounts, payroll, reporting, reconciliation. Ask her what she is always trying to get right, and it is not just accuracy. It is understanding the story behind the numbers. "If something doesn't look right, I enjoy digging into it until I understand why and can resolve it."

Eight and a half years, several roles, and one constant: someone our team and our customers know they can rely on. That is what built to be trusted looks like on the financial side.

Off the clock, Lynsey is a mom to her daughter Arya, a line dancer, a baker (she is the one who brings dessert to our Grill Fridays), and a devoted New York Rangers fan whose life, in her words, is consumed by hockey season.

"I love what I do because every day brings the opportunity to make a difference, and I'm grateful to work for a company that shares those same values."

That is Lynsey, and that is Great American.

Empowering, Human-Centered Growth.
People are our greatest advantage.

The fourth and final of our core values, and the one the other three depend on. Every interaction, inside our walls and with our partners, should leave people feeling seen, supported, and stronger.

That is easy to put on a wall. Here is what it actually looks like.

Mike Jackson came to us eight years ago from a night audit desk at a hotel. He learned this business from fabrication to inventory to leadership, and today he runs our manufacturing operations. Mauricio Torres has been here since nearly the beginning, spending years as the fabricator everyone turned to with the hard problems. This year he moved into Product Development, where the person who knows best what actually works now helps decide what we build next. And Chris Walton, who has spent his career pushing this industry forward, is now our Chief Product Officer, in a role built around what he does best.

Three people, three very different paths, one pattern. Growth here is not a reward we hand out. It is something we build for, on the floor, in product, and in the executive team alike.

When you invest in people, they build the company for you.

Meet the Aqua Rain, individual streams falling in steady succession.

Third in our Aqua series. We started with the Sheer, the platform everything is built on. Then the Shower, the same body fitted with inserts for a softer pattern. The Rain takes that idea and breaks the flow into distinct streams, falling clean and separate into the water below.

You can run it straight down for a natural, rainfall feel, or angle it outward to throw the streams away from the wall and change the whole character of the feature. That flexibility is what makes it work in so many settings, from a quiet spa wall to a dramatic architectural drop.

Same hand-built body. Same standard. A completely different feel.

Nature's rhythm, engineered.

Meet Mike Jackson, our Director of Operations, the man who keeps the shop running.

Mike's path to Great American started at a Holiday Inn Express, where he worked as a night auditor. Chris Walton, who would later become our Chief Product Officer, kept talking about this company and where it was headed. Those conversations stuck with Mike. He asked Chris if we were hiring, Chris said yes, and eight years later, the rest is history.

He did not start at the top. Mike learned this company from the ground up, fabricating products, managing inventory, and studying the business itself. Chris mentored him early, teaching him how to build the Vista Edge and, more importantly, how to lead. Today Lee Russell is helping him sharpen the business side. Mike has always been the kind of person who bets on learning, and it shows.

Now he runs the floor. He keeps the shop moving, puts out the fires before they spread, supports his managers, and stays on top of every customer and distributor issue that comes through. He also runs the culture, from shop meetings to grill Fridays to the Christmas activities he organizes alongside Lynsey.

Ask him what he is proudest of, and it is not a product or a process. It is the culture and structure he built. Ask him what "built to be trusted" means, and he does not hesitate: quality over quantity, every time. It is what he preaches, and it is how he believes trust gets earned.

When he is not at the shop, you will find him at the gym, which he calls his solitude, in the kitchen, where cooking is his real passion, or catching a game. And yes, he is a proud sneakerhead.

In his own words: "I love my job. It's great to be part of a team that values you. Every day I come to work, I feel like I make a difference."

That is Mike, and that is Great American. Trust the process.

Yesterday we shared one of our core values: Craftsmanship Without Compromise. Today, our Chief Product Officer shows you what that looks like from the product side.

For decades, watershaping has been a conversation about everything around the water. Color theory. Stone tones. Aggregate finishes. Travertine worn just enough to suggest permanence.

Chris Walton's argument is simple: in all of that conversation, water was just what filled it. That is changing.

The idea worth sitting with: walk through any serious project built in the last few years and the design is not asking you to admire the tile. It is asking you to watch the water. The nape of a weir edge. The ribbon off a nozzle. Rain effects falling in deliberate rhythm. These are not accessories added after the real design is done. Increasingly, they are the design.

And here is where it connects back to craftsmanship: shaping water is genuinely difficult. A beautiful ribbon is not an accident. It is an engineered outcome. That is the detail we take pride in.

If you design, build, or spec water features, this one is worth your time.

The third of our four core values, and the one you can see in every unit that leaves our building.

Every Great American product is built by hand. Not assembled from a line, not stamped out and boxed. Cut, fitted, and finished by people who take the work personally and who put their standard into parts most customers will never inspect up close.

And every single unit is water tested before it ships. Not a sample. Not a batch. Every one. Because the only way to know a product performs is to run water through it and watch, and we would rather find a problem here than let you find it on a job site.

That is what without compromise actually means. It is not a slogan about quality. It is a decision we make on every unit, every day, even when nobody would know the difference.

Built by hand. Proven by water.

Meet the Aqua Shower, the same sheet of water with a whole new character.

Last week we introduced the Aqua Sheer, the feature our entire Aqua line is built on. The Shower is where that platform starts to flex. Same body, same clean shape coming off the wall, but fitted with inserts that break the flow into a soft, shower-like pattern.

And you have options. Three insert styles let you dial in the look, from a fine, gentle rain to a fuller, more textured fall. Same footprint, three distinct personalities.

The Shower is also the practical choice in a couple of ways builders will appreciate. It runs on less water than a full sheer, so it is easier on the pump and the plumbing. And it holds its pattern better from height, which makes it a strong option for taller installations where a standard sheet can start to break up.

One platform. Endless expression. Built by hand, right here in America.

Meet Lee Russell, our Chief Operating Officer and a third-generation Gulf Coast pool builder.

Lee's story in this trade started with a shovel and a wheelbarrow. His grandfather founded Russell Pool Company in Baton Rouge in 1964, after building one pool for his family and one for a neighbor and watching the word spread. Lee's father and uncle carried it forward, and Lee started working alongside his grandfather at twelve years old. Thirty-five years later, after buying and eventually selling the family business, he brought all of it to Great American.

Standing where our builder partners stand changed how he thinks about everything we make. "I've been the guy explaining to a homeowner why fixing something is going to cost five times what it would have cost to do right the first time," he says. "You don't forget that conversation. I know what it feels like when the office sends you something that looks great on paper and falls apart on the job site. I try not to be that office."

Ask him what he's proud of, and he won't point to something flashy. He points to the quiet stretch, the time spent fixing things behind the scenes that nobody gives you credit for in the moment. "I'm proud of it because it's the reason things are holding up now instead of falling apart."

One belief runs through all of it: a standard doesn't mean anything until it costs you something to keep it. That is the discipline Lee brings to our operations every day, making sure the standard we talk about is the standard that holds when no one is watching.

"I just want us to be the company I would have wanted to buy from when I was still building pools myself."

That is Lee, and that is Great American.
